These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SimpleClean ("we", "us", "our", or the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using SimpleClean, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use SimpleClean. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms.
To use certain features, you must create an account. You may sign up directly with your email address or by using a third-party authentication provider such as Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration and to update your information if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
SimpleClean is a web-based tool that uses AI to remove background noise and enhance audio and video files. You can upload supported media files, process them using our noise removal pipeline, and download processed versions in various formats.
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without prior notice. We may also temporarily or permanently discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at our sole discretion.
"User Content" means any audio, video, or other materials you upload to the Service. You retain all ownership rights to your User Content. We do not claim ownership over your files.
By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (including noise removal, format conversion, and temporary storage).
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and process it with SimpleClean.
You agree not to use SimpleClean to:
• Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right (including privacy, publicity, and intellectual property rights).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the underlying source code or models of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
• Use bots, scripts, or other automated tools to abuse rate limits, quotas, or pricing.
Uploaded audio and video files, as well as processed outputs, are stored on our servers for up to seven (7) days. After this period, we permanently delete them as part of our routine cleanup process. We do not guarantee that your files will be available for the full seven-day period, and you are responsible for downloading and backing up important files.
We use Stripe for secure payments. Depending on your choice, you may purchase a subscription, pay-as-you-go minutes, or other paid features. All prices are shown in the currency listed on the pricing page and are subject to change.
By entering your payment information, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the applicable amounts. Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in accordance with our cancellation terms.
All billing, refunds, and disputes are handled in accordance with our pricing and refund policy as communicated on the site and through Stripe. We may refuse or cancel orders if fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected.
SimpleClean integrates with third-party services including, but not limited to, Stripe (for payments), Google (for authentication), and PostHog (for analytics). Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.
The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that processed audio or video will meet your expectations, be free of errors, or be suitable for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the Service, (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your account, or (c) any content or conduct of any third party.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SimpleClean and its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
